The new online platform for actuaries – www.actuview.com – with live broadcasts of national and international congresses, colloquia and online sessions of individual experts has been available for around six weeks now. New current contents are added regularly – the latest contributions come from the German Actuarial Association, which has recorded interesting lectures and plenary sessions at its Annual Conference from 24 to 26 April 2019 in Düsseldorf.
A total of three plenary sessions on outstanding topics of the profession with top-class experts, opinion leaders and decision-makers from the insurance and finance industry, universities, institutions and politics were streamed live. Furthermore all scientific presentations from the congress program were recorded – both formats are now available on the platform (in German language).
To inform all actuaries about the new platform and the advantages of its use actuview was represented with an exhibitor booth at the German Annual Conference. In addition to the opportunity to obtain comprehensive information about the new platform, the congress participants were able to take part in a creative photo campaign.
The upcoming highlight on the platform will be the 3rd European Congress of Actuaries 2019 on 6 and 7 June 2019 in Lisbon. With the overall theme “Actuary 2020 – A profession on the move” the program will consist of four plenary sessions with outstanding guest speakers and more than 36 presentations from experts from all over the world. All Plenary Sessions as well as numerous other lectures will be streamed live or recorded online and are available free of charge to all actuaries of the partner associations of actuview.
