In March 2024, the second edition of CONVENTION A will go live for a two-day online conference with a special emphasis on Europe and European actuarial topics.
We already have an exciting line-up of partners engaged in the program including the actuarial associations from Austria, Denmark, France, Germany, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Switzerland along the European Actuarial Academy, the International Actuarial Association, and the CERA Global Association. In addition, CONVENTION A | EUROPE will have an honorary guest: the Institute of Actuaries of Japan. The IAJ will host the next International Congress of Actuaries in 2026 and we are very happy to welcome them as a global program partner.
Each partner is tasked with curating a unique 90-minute program slot on either March 19 or 20, 2024, centered around their chosen topic. Actuaries from around the globe are invited to partake in these sessions, featuring expert presentations, keynote addresses, and panel discussions that delve into actuarial topics, challenges, and emerging trends within the European insurance and finance sectors, and beyond. Furthermore, we have two exclusive plenary sessions, with distinguished speakers from EU politics or industry.
