In February, the 21st Global Conference of Actuaries (GCA) took place in Mumbai. The event, organized by the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI), was a platform where actuaries and non-actuaries assembled to share thoughts and debate matters that affect the financial services industry in general and the insurance and pension industry in particular. The theme for this year’s conference was “Actuaries: Striving for excellence, creating sustainable future”.
