From 17 to 19 February, 2020 the 21st Global Conference of Actuaries (21st GCA) took place in Mumbai. The event organized by the Institute of Actuaries of India (IAI) was a platform where actuaries and non-actuaries assemble in a global ambience to share thoughts and debate matters that affect the financial services industry in general and insurance and pension industry in particular. The theme for this year’s conference was “Actuaries: Striving for excellence, creating sustainable future”. In addition the IAI wass celebrating its 75th jubilee on 17th February, 2020 and the Actuarial Gala Function & Awards 2020.
