In December 2021, the Caribbean Actuarial Association was shaking things up with the 2021 Virtual Conference. Their theme, “Change: Embracing the Disruption,” promised to deliver fievery debates, challenging presentations, exclusive content for actuarial students, and brainstorming interactive sessions. Their goal? To inspire and engage actuaries at every level all over the world to “embrace the disruptions” of the global market, its industries and societies, and to lead by being ahead of the curve and enacting change before we are redundant.
