The International Actuarial Association, in cooperation with actuview, is hosting the first Young Actuaries World Cup. For the competition, participants under 35 years are asked to submit videos, with a maximum length of seven minutes, about how actuaries can contribute to a better society, the future roles of the actuarial profession, or innovative ways of tackling big issues.
The World Cup will start with six regional rounds with participants from Africa, Asia, Europe, North and Latin America, and Oceania. The best eight participants will enter these mi-finals. The winner will be selected out of four finalists, which will be played at International Congress of Actuaries 2023. The four finalists of the competition will receive a free trip and accommodations to next year´s congress in Sydney, Australia!
